“Josh is likely the most talented and productive designer I have ever known. His talent and creativity are nicely complimented by his vast technical skills. I’d recommend him for everything from the most basic design work to highly sophisticated and technically challenging work. While his portfolio speaks volumes, it’s how efficiently the work was produced that most amazes me. Josh manages his projects and time well and his customer service skills are top-notch. I’m proud to work with Josh and am completely aware of how positively he has impacted our business.”

“Josh’s styles are intuitive and very easy to navigate, in addition to being visually crisp. He has earned lots of praise from clients of Voltaic Commerce, and I would recommend him for any web design job.
His teamwork and communication skills are far above the typical web developer’s, and his ability to integrate in a variety of toolkits (esp. Radiant CMS) is far above most designers. Josh is well balanced, well versed, and competent.”

A Little Bit About Me
As a designer, I tend to follow the trend of most creatives and would classify myself as someone who is a stickler for detail and
Aside from my resume, I’ve been building web sites and doing graphic design for more than a decade. My first personal site was back in the mid-90s, and mainly consisted of hideous graphics, plain text, and a grand total of 3 pages. I played around with Photoshop and Flash from some of their earliest days, but it wasn’t until college that I really began pursuing web design. After spending a couple years in the Computer Science department gaining an understanding of programming practices and basic logic, I decided to switch over to Graphic Design and gain a more professional/technical understanding of what I had already been spending my free time on. After a few semesters, and an Associate’s Degree later, I jumped into the Telecommunications program at the University of Kentucky (UK) to add audio/video technology to my continuing desire to do web & graphic design. So, in 2004, I managed to graduate UK with a Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications with an emphasis in Film.
Since then, I’ve had a couple of opportunities to use and expand my web development knowledge and design expertise for local Lexington companies. However, my most exciting opportunity has been getting to volunteer my skills for my church—Quest Community Church.
